Located just 20 minutes from Cambridge and less than an hour from Central London by train, the Park is within the Cambridgeshire Tech Cluster, the largest in Europe. Plans have been submitted for a masterplan to redevelop Melbourn Science Park and provide world class lab and coworking, leased and managed office space for science and tech businesses, from startups to international R&D centres. Proposals include a village green, a boutique hotel and a gastro pub/restaurant for both businesses based on the Park and the local Melbourn community. Featuring biophilic, wellbeing-orientated and flexible design, our vision is to refurbish three existing buildings on the Park, and create six new builds. There will be additional investment into an electric vehicle-ready parking hub and cycle store, cycle hire and shared travel infrastructure, designed with the support of specialist highways consultants.
